The Hele 2.0 boasts the finest motor in the world made with the best neodymium magnets and copper windings. The 48V battery allows for 1,200 watts of peak power to be delivered to the motor when needed, like climbing a huge hill, carrying a big load or fighting the fierce wind. The 750W motor is ideal for continuous use (normal riding only needs about 200-330 watts).
The Perfect Power
The high quality battery for the Hele comes in at 48 Volts and 16 Amp Hours. What does that mean? Simply put, a higher voltage battery is able to deliver the same amount of power using less current, this means you'll get awesome power from your bike while generating less heat in the motor and controller. A higher voltage also allows you to get more range out of your bike before you notice any decrease in power. Amp hours can be thought of as the amount of gas your battery can hold. A higher amp hour number means you'll get more range per charge. We regularly have customers tell us they're able to ride up to, and even over, 55 miles per charge.
Bang for the Buck
You can find a cheaper electric bike, and you can definitely find a more expensive electric bike, but when it comes to value, you'll have a hard time finding something better than a Black Rock Bike. Bike - Battery - Motor
MOTOR WARRANTY
We offer a 2 year warranty against manufacturer defects, but if it’s because the motor was damaged from abuse, neglect, misuse, or accident, you will either need a new motor or send it back to us for repair. Customers can either drop off or ship the motor back at their expense for repair. There is no repair cost or exchange cost to fix or exchange the motor within the first 30 days if it was due to manufacturer defect. After 30 days, each motor repair will incur a labor charge, which varies depending on the repair type. If you would rather exchange the motor instead of getting it repaired, the cost to do an exchange is $399. You will receive a new motor and we will retain the old motor. Customers will incur the shipping cost to do a motor exchange. After 10 years, you will need to pay the full retail price of a new motor. Please contact our Customer Support team for information regarding our motor warranty.

After 30 days, each battery repair will incur a labor charge, which varies dependent on the repair type. If you would rather exchange the battery instead of getting it repaired, the cost to do an exchange is $399 for a standard battery and $499 for an upgraded battery. You will receive a new battery and we will retain the old battery. Customers will incur the shipping cost to do a battery exchange. After 5 years, you will need to pay the full retail price of a new standard or upgraded battery. Remember to always charge your battery every 1-2 months when not in use and water damage is not covered under the warranty.
